We thoroughly enjoyed hosting a table of some of our fabulous business introducers recently. Held in a marquee in Willen Hospice gardens, overlooking Willen Lake, we were delighted to be able to attend their hugely popular midsummer Ladies Day on Thursday 21 June 2018.
During the afternoon, not only were we treated to live racing from Royal Ascot, live music and an outdoor welcome drinks reception, but we also enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea as well. The race tote was open too, meaning we could place a few safe or risky bets as we pleased – Willen Hospice will have done well out of inability to pick many winners!
The whole event was fantastic, there was a great atmosphere and just over £22,000 was raised over the two Willen Hospice Ascot days, which is brilliant news for this hard working charity. Overall, we thought it was a good way to network as it was very relaxed and something just a little different from our usual business/social activities.
