Where are meetings held?

Meetings are typically held at our office, especially for initial meetings and Life Roadmap Presentation meetings. However, we offer the flexibility for our annual review meetings to be held online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, if that is more convenient for you.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have parking facilities at our office. We will ensure a dedicated space is left outside our door for your convenience.

Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?

No, the initial meeting is held at our expense. It’s an opportunity for you to get to know us and discuss your financial goals and needs.

What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?

We will grant you access to our secure client portal ahead of your initial meeting. It’s helpful if you can upload any financial documents, such as investment portfolio statements, pension documents and insurance schedules. Alternatively, you can bring these to the meeting.

How long should I allow for an initial meeting?

An initial meeting typically lasts about 1.5 hours. We want to ensure you have ample time to understand your financial situation and answer any questions you may have.

Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?

No, there is no obligation to sign up for our services after the initial meeting. We will provide you with information about our services, and you can take your time to decide if you’d like to work with us.

How can I book an initial meeting?

You can easily book an initial meeting by contacting our office by phone or email. We will ask you some initial questions to determine if we are best placed to help. Our friendly staff will assist you in scheduling a convenient time, or they will be happy to refer you to another professional if needed.

Are you independent?

Yes, we are an independent financial advisory firm. We are not tied to particular financial products or providers, which means our recommendations are based solely on your best interests and financial goals. Our independence allows us to offer unbiased advice and tailor our recommendations to your unique circumstances.

Are you regulated?

Can you advise on final salary/defined benefit transfers?

No, we do not provide advice on final salary/defined benefit transfers. Our expertise lies in other areas of financial planning, and we recommend seeking specialist advice for such transfers from professionals with expertise in this specific area.

What happens if my financial planner is away on holiday?

We have a qualified support team, which includes a trainee financial planner, technical paraplanners and dedicated client services staff who will always be able to assist. We also have a locum if regulated advice is required.

What do you charge for a financial plan?

Our fees for financial planning vary depending on the complexity of your financial situation. We will provide you with a clear fee structure during our initial meeting. You can view our fees online here.

Do you take a percentage, or are your fees fixed?

We charge a fixed fee for your Life Roadmap Report and the implementation of any recommendations. Our ongoing services fees are primarily based on a percentage of assets under management, typically at a rate of 0.85% per annum. You can find out more here.
