We thought it was high time you got to know the team better. We’re introducing a new feature in our newsletters so you can get to know us and what makes us tick….introducing Amy Nechat, better known to you as our Client Services Assistant.
Client Services Assistant – how did that happen? I had been managing a local coffee shop for a couple of years and beyond owning my own coffee shop (which wasn’t an option without a lottery win!), couldn’t go any further. I have always worked in a people facing role from a bakery at 16 to hotel receptionist to making coffee everyday and I felt like a wanted a new challenge.
What drew you to JSFPL? To be honest, the office dog was the biggest pull! I It being a small team was also a big attraction and the fact it was local to me as I live in Olney.
What keeps you smiling at work everyday? The team and the clients – it’s as simple as that.
What are you saving for? A house deposit.
When you’re not at JSFPL, what keeps you busy? My daughter has a busier social life than me at the age of 10 and so my time is spent taking her places. Outside of that, I love to read and very often have 2-3 books on the go at any one time. I try to indulge my creative side through painting and clay modelling but not always successfully!
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be? Life changes in an instant and sometimes you are the only one who can save yourself – don’t give up, it will get better.
What goals are you working towards now? An aim, rather than a goal, is to understand more about marketing as I have taken on some of our marketing. It’s been more interesting than I expected and I’m really enjoying the challenge.
