There are only 69 firms in the UK with CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firm status and we are now one of them! This means a lot to us as a company, as it is recognition that we are a leader in the financial planning profession, we put our clients at the heart of everything we do and deliver a full and effective financial planning service.

As cyber security has become so important, we recently undertook an assessment and are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the CyberEssentials certification. This shows our commitment to cyber security and protection against hacking, phishing and password guessing. There’ll be more news on this later in the year.

In October 2018 we were awarded BS8577 which is a British Standard Certification and one of the highest accolades in financial services.

Then in early 2019 Nicola achieved ISO22222 accreditation which is the only International Standard for providing financial planning. These were both huge achievements, but we have to reapply every year, so ensuring that all holders continue to meet the stringent standards. Well, we are very pleased to announce that Jane Smith Financial Planning and Nicola have both been recertified to these standards and we continue to hold these accreditations.
