Please support Our Cupcake Day

To support the Alzheimer’s Society, we are hosting a Cupcake Day on Thursday 14th June 2018 – please come along and join us.

Not just cakes!

The event will take place at our offices from 9.00am to 11.30am and as has become normal practice with our annual coffee morning, we will have arts and craft stalls for you to peruse, raffle tickets to purchase for some great prizes, as well as cakes for you to buy and eat in our offices or take home. Every penny we raise will go to this amazing charity.

Help us set a new fundraising record

Dementia devastates lives. Every three minutes someone develops dementia in the UK, and there is currently no cure. Dementia is a disease that unfortunately will touch most people at some point in their life.

The Alzheimer’s Society provides help and support, not just to those diagnosed with dementia, but also those who are affected by it, such as someone caring for a loved one with dementia. Since 2016, their annual Cupcake Day event has raised £1.4 million and we hope that this year we can help them to set a new fundraising record. If we could raise £150, it would pay for a National Dementia Helpline Advisor to provide 10 hours of support to someone affected by dementia or just £50 could pay for a communication tool, using symbols rather than words that would help someone with advanced dementia communicate.

We would love you to come along and support us as we raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Whether you are baking or buying, we need your help. Click here to see the Cupcake Day Poster 1.

Please get in touch with Amy now if you would like to donate cakes or prizes.

And, of course, if you can’t make it on the day, but would like to make a donation, then you can do so on our Just Giving page, by clicking here.
